Diploma in Hospitality Management

There is no doubt that Tourism and Hospitality Industry is the largest growing industry in the world nowadays. One-fifth of the world’s total employment is involved in this industry either directly or indirectly. So as a developing country, this is high time to give top priority to develop in this sector.

Diploma in Hotel Management is one of the major study sectors in tourism and hospitality. The theme of the course is to cover the basic knowledge and skills necessary for those involved at a variety of levels in every department of the hotel that includes Front Office, Housekeeping, Food Service, Food Production, Hotel Accounting, Human Resources etc. The course also provides a framework on which to build further studies and on which to relate further acquired knowledge and experience.

After completing the course, the students can get a job very easily in different 5-star hotels, hospitality industries, airlines, cruise lines, catering establishments and so on. Moreover, the course module will enable them to achieve further degrees like IoH certification and the students can opt to sit for the City & Guilds qualifications.

A student under a normal workload will have 12 Credits per semester for this diploma program. A total of 30 credits will be required to complete the diploma. These credits are divided into the following ways:
